As a result of the new Domain Rules that entered into force with the new year, the Foundation will no longer ask for a street address when registering an .ee domain. Another new feature of the renewed Rules is that .ee domains can now also be inherited.
Starting from January 1st, domains can be registered without adding a name server. Name servers make domains available on the Internet and thus this is an important change for those who do not want to make their domain publicly available immediately.
Starting from January 1, 2017, the price of registering an .ee domain will be 12, 24 or 36 Euros, depending on the length of the selected registration period. According to the new rules, street addresses are no longer collected and domains can now also be inherited.
